I was actually trying to look for another block hosting site to move all my stuffs to there, I even thought of moving to blogspot instead, at least it allows for me to do some code customization if I want to (although I think I’ll be extremely lazy to, but I’d prefer to keep that option open), but after using an extremely long time waiting for the blogspot migration tool to work (I kept my computer up a few days to import the stuffs), I can’t even tell if there was any progress. There wasn’t any % shown or some progress bar, see, this is the reason why we study user interfaces man, to let people know what’s going on, whether if something is moving.
I’ve kept my computer up and running that importing for a full 1 week, and nothing happened, like even after cancelling, not even one post was imported. After that few weeks of trying (consecutive tries of importing), and a failure to find any blog hosting sites that seem to be able to do WordPress importing, I kinda just let my blog rot away.
Anyways, a few years of crap I’ve written are all stored here, and I couldn’t quite bear to burn all these stuffs away, I might as well just pick up the pen (in this case, a keyboard) and continue writing stuffs here.
I am very curious as to who will actually chance upon this.
The first movie Pixar’s made since 2 years back (Monsters University)! And it is goooood!
I wasn’t really expecting much from this movie, I’ve seen the trailer before when I was watching a movie few months back and didn’t quite understand what was going on, nor remember anything about the trailer actually. Taking into consideration that Pixar haven’t been coming up with good movies, I’ve assumed that the good writers had probably switched company and went to DreamWorks.
And my oh my, Inside Out is actually quite interesting. It shows the main emotions that are actually running a person’s mind, and how our actions are affected by emotions, and how all these emotions form a part of our personality. The best part is when we are led to take a glimpse into the brains of other people and showed their internal emotions working.
I’m thinking that the anger emotion character would probably be the biggest in my brain.
Anyways, I’m proud of myself for not really tearing up at the end of the movie where there is usually a cliche touching part that tricks the tears out of you. I’ve heard a lot of sniffling sounds during that moment, so I was like thinking, “Hey, good job me, for not tearing up.”
Recommend that you all watch this show, and please Pixar, continue to hold your standards.
PS: Why is there a Toy Story 4???????? Isn’t it supposed to be done????? I mean, that’s the reason why I felt that it won over so many animation movies like the Shrek, Ice Age, Madagascar that never ever seemed to end. And now Pixar is milking their movies too. Gosh.
I was eating a lollipop while happily playing my game, and my mum came out from the shower; Our house has only a shower, and apart from my mum who bathed, there’s 3 people who’s going to bath after her, although my bro hadn’t come home yet but who knows what’s his ETA.
So I was like thinking, “Can you eat a lollipop while bathing?”
And so I sat and thought for a short while, shrugged my shoulders and thought, “Why not, just keep my mouth close while bathing, it shouldn’t be a problem.”
So I have something to say,
“It’s totally fine to eat a lollipop while bathing man.”
Realised that I’ve blogged this up last year like nearly 2 weeks earlier. But anyways, I’ve kind of redeemed presents from you guys as and when already, haha. So anyways, as a recap, or as just a blog update, I’m going to post the wanted list here, it’s not a long one, cuz I really can’t think of anything else I need / want that I haven’t got it myself yet:
– Booked by Oi Oi And Lynnette. 1 big + 1 small, I’m really looking forward to this since it’s like the first time I finally have the bigger rabbit.
One cherry blossom cushion on the bottom of the right picture and the white with flower patterns rabbit in the middle in the first picture incoming from Olivia.
And the stupid thing was that I didn’t ask to get the cushion for the white with flowers. So yup, this is like the only thing on my wish list which is not taken:
*Updated* booked by PC already, heh.
Moving on, and this scheduler is booked by Eileen:
That’s it that’s it. Nothing much, all my cravings are on Craftholic now haha.
I’ve finally tried to be a tourist in my own country by going to a famous (not sure is it really famous, I’m going to say yes because I’m trying to be a positive person) tourism spot – Gardens by the Bay.
The admission fee is 20 bucks for Singaporeans and PR. I’m not sure if it’s considered expensive, because I’m considering the full blast air con they offered in both the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. We had to walk a sunny trail from Bayfront MRT to the Gardens, I was sweating so much I already felt like putting my tongue out of my mouth to relieve the heat in my body. I felt like a stick of butter melting while walking.
So when we finally reached the dome, I don’t really think about the 20 bucks anymore. The air con was so nice, I didn’t even care about the crowds of people that day, which is a big deal for me since I hate people crowds so much.
Okay, yea, it’s not big-bang-concert-full kind of crowd. There is enough space for you to walk freely, so it was okay. You could have break dance on the floor or start doing a swan lake ballet, there is enough space for those kind of things.
And we spent a lot of time in Flower Dome, compared to Cloud Forest which we pretty much just walked through the whole thing and didn’t take many pictures. My theory is that there are a lot more flowers to take in Flower Dome than Cloud Forest, so when we were inside the Forest thing, there are only very little flowers in comparison and thus I really didn’t take any pictures.
Our 3-person group mainly consists of:
– 1 photo director
– 2 super models
Oi Oi was mainly trying to take artistic pictures, while the other 2 of us are just snapping pictures everywhere and giggling around. The best part was when the director requested me to do something like this:
#1 – The controversial picture where people kept asking me if I’ve slimmed down. The sad thing however was that, this picture is more like pose + angle thing, I didn’t slim down that much. And by the way, I was staring into blankness in this picture because I was wearing Lynnette’s sunglasses, and I was pretty much seeing low-definition images, and pixels mainly.
#2 – And this, I was staring at a large aloe vera / big cactus thingy.
#3 – I was staring at a piece of leaf dangling from a tree / fern nearby. There’s one where my head is lodged perfectly in the mouth of the lion, but Lynnette is inside doing this stupid thing with me and she will hit me if I post it. By the way, this is the most embarrassing one especially when there might be people walking past and see this crazy dudette.
#4 – Staring off into the distant sky.
Halfway through all of these I’m suddenly thinking why is super model #2 – Lynnette not doing all these artistic poses.
Anyways, life move on. So let’s move on and see the other flowers. I think if one day we’re going museum, me and Lynnette will be the one fooling around while Oi Oi will try her very best to look very serious, okay, maybe she is, and that makes me feel like dragging her down. LOL. (Yes, I’m that kind of 死小孩)
The moment when we enter the Flower Dome, and immediately saw this:
Which totally looks like those brown scrub thing you used to wash stains off woks or if you use it to clean the sink area. I’ve took a picture of those in Japan so you can understand what I’m saying:
And then Lynnette pointed a potted plant to me that looked like… Well, you will know what it looked like when you saw the picture:
If I see an art piece that looked like this shape, I really don’t think, I can not laugh at the sight of this. Maybe Oi Oi can write a literature essay for this kind of.. shape of thing. Since she did so for a Exorcism of Emily Rose-ish kind of picture before, which for the hell of me unable to find that article now. I wonder if I still remember where’s the 3D S** and Zen post is at which year.
And I like this dragon statute made of wood the most, I’m using the director’s picture since hers is taken the nicest yos:
On a closer look:
I don’t know why but when I look at this photo and I wanna laugh:
All in all, it was a fun day. And it’s the first time I’ve seen Oi Oi eat that much and it’s fascinating.
